    • What is your opinion on the effectiveness of structures using building disassembly as a method of construction?

      Many real cases and studies show the real advantage of disassembly construction methods, especially in steel and timber elements, as they have the typical characteristics of a circular process (cradle to cradle). There are several aspects to be evaluated including cost, time, labour, and the actual benefits in terms of reducing environmental impacts, but I believe that with a proper disassembly plan already planned in the design phase, the whole process would be very simple, practical and cost-effective.

    • How does waterproofing work?

      Waterproofing provides protection to the walls, keeping them from leakages and dampness issues caused by moisture or water. This protection can be in the form of sealers, coatings or membranes. Only paint is not enough to help the walls from water damage. Cracks need special treatment or they are likely to get more severe.

    • How much does waterproofing cost?

      The cost of waterproofing will depend on the amount of water damage, size and type of surface and types of materials used. It is recommended to speak to a waterproofing expert and examine the area that requires waterproofing to provide you with an accurate quotation.
